About me
I'm Jonatan Ljung, a web developer with over two years of experience building modern and responsive websites. I specialize in Angular, TypeScript, Java, and PostgreSQL - and I'm always expanding my skills to become a stronger fullstack developer.
My journey
During my time at INBooks, I worked on projects ranging from AngularJS migrations to new feature development.
I've handled both frontend UI work and backend integrations, and I was trusted with ensuring that designs stayed consistent across our products.

My approach to development
Clean code
I write code that's readable, maintainable, and built to last. Good structure and clear naming aren't just habits, they're how I make sure future work stays manageable.
Attention to Detail
Whether it's a pixel off in the UI or an edge case in the logic, I notice the small things. Consistency across a product is what separates good work from great work.
User-Centric Design
I believe technical decisions and design decisions are inseparable. Good code that delivers a poor experience isn't good enough. I keep the end user in mind throughout.
Beyond code
I enjoy working on personal projects, learning new frameworks, and exploring usability. I also have a strong interest in cooking, baking, gaming, and the odd fascination with animal behavior — especially hyenas.
Where I'm headed
I'm currently living in Växjö, Småland, but I'm open to opportunities across southern Sweden. I'm drawn to teams that value collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning - with the occasional friday fika, of course.
